Goat Training

 I will be doing Agility, Cart, and pack training with my goats! Some will only be trained one of the three others will be trained each one (One at a time of course). Here are more pictures of my babies! I took them away from the mom today and bottle fed them. they both accepted the bottle just fine. Tilly's not to crazy about being away from her babes. She and her 'sisters' are in the back pen while the babies are in the front pen, Tilly keeps hollering to her kids. It's heart breaking to hear but she'll get over it quickly.

 You remember these coats? they are the same ones I had on Faye! The blue and green one I got at the same place that I got the plaid ones.

 Let's not forget Faye! Shes a great big sister! She's already teaching them how to head butt, jump around, and nibble grass! Shes 8 weeks old now and weaned. At 6 weeks she wanted nothing to do with her bottle and was eating grain, hay, and greens like the big goats. Faye and Pippi are Best Buddies. They are escaping nearly every day and both very hefty! Though I'm not worried about them escaping because I know they wont go far from the herd.

More Babies

Tilly had her kids approximately one AM May Forth! I'm very excited! 

She had two girls, the one on the left is Leia, and the right one is Leibchen (Pronounced Leap-shin, it's German for Sweet Heart!)  These are the only pictures I have right now but I'll add more shortly. 

I missed the birth cause we didn't hear her while we were sleeping. We are pretty sure they were born around one AM just cause Sadie (Our dog) woke mom up around one like she thought something was going on out side...though mom didn't check the barn cause she didn't hear any thing. We are just going to go with one  AM.

I named one Leia because they were born on Intergalactic Star Wars day! Leia means Delicate.

First snake

My cat's not a very good hunter. She's great at finding and hunting down the little critters but once she gets them she has no idea what to do with them.....and there's NO WAY she would ever - being a princess and all - eat any thing uncooked! 

So I went out side and saw Lila in the garden just staring at something. It was this snake. She had scared it so much that it was just curled up in a little ball not daring to move. He let me pick him up, I didn't want to scare him too much more so I only put him in the jar long enough to get the picture and I put him back in the garden.  My first snake of the year, Though I really can't take any credit for finding him!

We are still waiting on my girls. We have just realized that we missed a due date when we wrote them all down. So they each are also due on the fifth of may, along with the date we had this month.
I'll up date with pictures once they kid!
